US White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated: “No decisions have been made around additional public health measures that would change domestic travel” (Reuters, 11-Feb-2021). The White House reported it is “continuing to discuss recommendations across the travel space”. US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has reported the Biden administration is considering requiring negative COVID-19 test results for domestic air travel. Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian stated the proposal would be a “logistical nightmare” and “set us back another year in the recovery”.
