Vietnam Govt: Vietnam Airlines likely to incur losses of up to USD647.6m in 2020

Vietnam's Government reported Vietnam Airlines is likely to incur losses of around VND14 trillion (USD604.7 million) to VND15 trillion (USD647.9 million) in 2020 (Reuters, 26-Nov-2020). As previously reported by CAPA, the carrier recorded total consolidated revenue of VND23.9 trillion (USD1 billion) and an expected consolidated loss of VND10.7 trillion (USD463.2 million) in the nine months ended Sep-2020.
