Vietnam's Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Quoc Phuong reported the country is not considering a resumption of international commercial flights due to the current COVID-19 situation (VNExpress, 04-Jan-2021). Mr Tran added tourism activities would only resume if government deemed it was safe. Vietnam suspended commercial international services in late Mar-2020.
