Wizz Air plans to close its base at Dortmund Airport, effective 24-Oct-2021 (WDR.de/RUHR24/wa.de, 12/14-Aug-2021). The airline will continue to serve Dortmund, but will no longer base its aircraft and crew at the airport. The base closure is not expected to impact Wizz Air's schedule for winter 2021/2022.
