Wizz Air announced (11-Feb-2021) plans to open a new base at Burgas Airport in summer 2021. The LCC plans to base one A320 aircraft at the airport from 10-Jun-2021 to 12-Sep-2021 and open seven new routes as follows:
- Burgas-Dortmund: Three times weekly, effective 10-Jun-2021;
- Burgas-Tel Aviv: Three times weekly, effective 10-Jun-2021;
- Burgas-Kyiv: Three times weekly, effective 11-Jun-2021;
- Burgas-Liverpool: Twice weekly, effective 11-Jun-2021;
- Burgas-Poznan: Twice weekly, effective 11-Jun-2021;
- Burgas-Eindhoven: Twice weekly, effective 13-Jun-2021;
