WTTC: US economy faces daily loss of USD198m due to travel restrictions

World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) reported (15-Sep-2021) the US economy faces a daily potential loss of nearly USD198 million should current border restrictions remain. The US remains closed to many of the largest contributors to the US economy in terms of visitor spending in 2019, including the UK: 8%, Germany: 4%, France: 3%, and Italy: 2%.
