Here are the key executive changes for November 2018:
- Aberdeen International Airport appointed Steve Szalay as managing director, effective 13-Nov-2018.
- Mango appointed CFO Marelize Labuschagne as acting CEO, replacing Nic Vlok.
- ENAV confirmed chairman Roberto Scaramella resigned from the position of chairman of the board of directors, effective 08-Nov-2018. Mr Scaramella will be replaced by board member Nicola Maione.
- Isavia announced plans to appoint Sigrún Björk Jakobsdóttir as MD, effective 04-Dec-2018.
- S7Airlines board approved the voluntary resignation of chairman Vladislav Filev and the appointment of Natalia Fileva to the position on 07-Nov-2018.
- fastjet announced the appointment of Lawrence Masha as fastjet Tanzania executive chairman.
- Moscow Vnukovo Airport appointed Dmitry Saprykin as director general.
- ORIX Aviation Systems Limited announced the following key changes to leadership structure:
- James Meyler appointed as CEO of the ORIX Aviation Group. Mr Meyler is CEO of ORIX Aviation Hong Kong and group deputy CEO & CCO. He succeeds David Power, who held the position since 2003.
- Marie-Louise Kelly, CFO at ORIX Aviation, has been promoted to the main board of ORIX Aviation;
- Paul O'Dwyer promoted to the position of chief commercial officer.
- TUI Airways appointed Dawn Wilson as MD, effective 01-Jan-2019. Ms Wilson will succeed John Murphy, who plans to leave his role ahead of retirement. Ms Wilson's role covers operations for both TUI Airways and TUI fly Nordic.
- Newcastle International Airport appointed Chris Ion as aviation development executive.
- Deutsche Lufthansa AG announced plans to implement the following group leadership changes, effective 01-Jan-2019:
- Markus Binkert: Appointed new Lufthansa Munich hub chief commercial officer (CCO) and Lufthansa Group head of marketing. Mr Binkert currently serves as SWISS CCO;
- Steffen Harbarth: Appointed new Lufthansa CityLine management board member. He succeeds Jörg Eberhart, who will increase activities and drive future projects in the Italian market as Air Dolomiti president and CEO.
- SWISS announced plans to appoint Tamur Goudarzi Pour as chief commercial officer (CCO), effective 01-Jan-2019.
- Nordavia appointed Sergey Savostin as director general. Former director general Anatoly Semenyuk will take the position of chairman.
- London City Airport appointed Rob Holden as chairman of the board, effective 19-Nov-2018.
- Airbus appointed Michael Schöllhorn as chief operating officer (COO) for Airbus Commercial Aircraft, effective 01-Feb-2019. He will succeed Tom Williams, who will retire at the end of Dec-2018. Mr Schöllhorn will report to Guillaume Faury, who will succeed Tom Enders as CEO following the AGM on 10-Apr-2019.
- Airbus selected Dominik Asam as CFO, effective 10-Apr-2019. He will succeed Harald Wilhelm in the role.
- Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA appointed Helga Bollmann Leknes as chief commercial officer (CCO).
- Jambojet appointed Allan Kilavuka as its new MD and CEO, effective 01-Jan-2019.
- Thomas Cook Group appointed Sten Daugaard as executive director & CFO on an interim basis;
- Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) appointed Bongiwe Mbomvu as acting CEO;
- Edelweiss Air plans to appoint Patrick Heymann as new chief commercial officer, effective 01-Feb-2019.
- Icelandair Group appointed Bogi Nils Bogason as president and CEO. Mr Nils Bogason has been interim president and CEO of the carrier since Aug-2018 and served as CFO since Oct-2008.
- CSA Czech Airlines appointed Petr Kudela as chairman.
