Cathay Pacific to operate 70% of pre pandemic capacity by end of 2023

Cathay Pacific GM sales and distribution Martin Xu, speaking at the CTC Hong Kong Corporate Travel Summit, stated (23-May-2023) "As we look to progressively increasing capacity approaching peak summer season, it is anticipated we will operate around 70% of pre pandemic capacity by the end of 2023". Mr Xu added: "We aim to return to pre pandemic full capacity levels by the end of 2024", noting this is ahead of the Asia Pacific traffic forecast.
