CTC: WHO tells us we must continue scrutinising the COVID-19 situation

CTC - Corporate Travel Community executive director Benson Tang, speaking at the CTC Singapore Corporate Travel Summit, stated (27-Jun-2023) "the World Health Organisation are telling us we must continue scrutinising [the COVID-19 situation], so it hasn't yet disappeared". Dr Tang said: "The overall economy, particularly in GDP growth in the world, is a "little sluggish", noting 2024 data is only showing a global increase of between 2% to 3%. Dr Tang added: "Inflation is another key factor and last year particularly our global inflation rate was so high, and is a little better this year. We hope the trajectory will get better in 2024".
