Northern Territory's Howard Springs facility to increase fortnightly quarantine capacity

Northern Territory's Chief Minister Michael Gunner said the Howard Springs quarantine facility will increase its fortnightly capacity from 500 to 850 (ABC, 11-Jan-2021). Mr Gunner said: "There are no extra flights scheduled yet, but they will start scaling up across this month". Mr Gunner added: "We can safely and responsibly increase our numbers because we are the safest place in Australia, the best quarantine facility in Australia, we are stepping up".
