Singapore Tourism Board: Business events industry has emerged 'a lot stronger'

Singapore Tourism Board executive director Edward Koh, speaking at the CTC Singapore Corporate Travel Summit, stated (27-Jun-2023) the business events industry has emerged "a lot stronger", adding: "There have been many useful lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic". Dr Koh said: "We are clearly on the recovery trajectory but we have to be prepared for headwinds". He noted global recovery is "on its way", however cited a recent world economic outlook by the IMF describing the road ahead as a "rocky and uneven recovery". ]
