TUI Group summer 2021 bookings at around 56% of 2019 levels

TUI Group reported (09-Feb-2021) summer 2021 holiday demand remains positive despite COVID-19 uncertainties, with bookings expected to be made for "much later" in summer 2021. The company stated that a total of 2.8 million bookings have been recorded for summer 2021, around 56% of bookings for the same period in 2019 with average prices around 20% higher. Capacity remains at around 80% of the summer 2019 programme for summer 2021.
