Wizz Air requires passengers without Wizz Priority to place cabin baggage in cargo hold compartment

Wizz Air introduced new cabin baggage rules, requiring passengers without Wizz Priority status to place cabin baggage in the cargo hold compartment, effective 22-Jun-2018 (avianews.com, 25-Jun-2018). The carrier's official website stated: "As we have limited space onboard, we cannot guarantee that all passengers' hand luggage will be travelling with them in the cabin area of the aircraft. Only passengers with Wizz Priority will be able to bring their hand luggage on board subject to boarding procedures at each airport".
